Spring Reset: How You Can Organize Your Life and Mind This Season

Spring has always felt like an invitation to begin again—but this year, I’m not chasing the usual glow up. I am being very intentional about choosing the soft and subtle ways I can show up for myself. The ones that don’t require me to start my new year over again for the fifth time and do an entire overhaul or a 5AM wakeup routine. Just little shifts that make me feel more grounded and clear.
So if you’re like me and have been craving the fresh start that the warmth and long days of Spring brings but you’re also exhausted because…life, then same. Here’s how I’m easing into this season and this new quarter, with intention and a little bit of softness.
How I’m Showing Up for Myself This Season—And How You Can Too
- Planning My Month with Intention (Not Pressure) –
- I sat down with my planner and really asked myself, what do I need this month? Not just what I need to get done. As a super Type A girly, it allowed me to shape an April that was organized but also felt realistic and meaningful. You can incorporate this into your planning for the month. Try choosing 3 focus areas instead of an overwhelming long to do list.
- Making Space – (Physically and Mentally)
- So yes, spring cleaning but hear me out! Yes I am going to clear out my junk drawer and switch out the kids clothes for the season but beyond this I really asked myself — what can I let go of this season? What limiting beliefs can I confront and let go of? What is no longer serving me? Maybe I need to unfollow and unsubscribe to a few things that cause more stress than inspiration. I’m telling you it’s like spring cleaning for the soul!
- Returning to My Routines
- Listen, I am not building any more routines. I am the self proclaimed Queen of routines! My routines have routines okay and adding more things is too overwhelming at this point. I am returning to the ones that work but maybe got lost in the chaos or the darkness of winter. These are simple things like making my bed daily, stretching, honoring a day of slow mornings, and not feeling guilty for weekends without a packed agenda. Remember you can bloom at your own pace, and I will be slowing it down!
- Celebrating the little wins
- This one is hard for me. My overall theme for this year is “Progress>Perfection.” So every checked off box, every load of laundry folded, every bonding moment with my kids, I’m counting those. And here’s the biggest part—I am letting those small moments be enough.
Remember you don’t have to do it all. (I’m saying this to myself also!) You just have to keep showing up for yourself in ways that feel good. So, how will you show up for yourself this season?
